How To Sous Vide Pork Boston Butt
Boston Butt is rich in fat and connective tissue. As a result, it is advised that you sous vide boston butt for longer periods of time and at slightly higher temperatures.
We advise that you do not cook at boston butt lower than medium.
Sous Vide Pork Boston Butt Recipe/Time
The most simple way of preparing boston butt is to:
- Bring your sous vide setup up to the proper temperature (see chart below).
- Cut it into portions.
- Put the boston butt into individual bags, along with a cooking fat like butter or olive oil, as well as some salt
- Seal the bag and place it in the water bath for some time.
- Remove the bag from the water bath, and the boston butt from the bag
